CDG to central Paris

Follow 'Paris by Train / RER' signs from any terminal; CDG has two stations (Terminal 2 and Terminal 1 via the free CDGVAL shuttle). Buy a single Paris-region ticket at the machines or counter, or tap a contactless card/phone at the gate. It runs direct to Gare du Nord, Chatelet-Les Halles and Saint-Michel.

Departs all terminals and runs to Opera (rue Scribe), in the heart of the Right Bank near big hotels. Buy with a contactless card on board or at the machine; it is covered by some Paris travel passes. One seated ride, room for cases, but subject to road traffic.

Use only the marked taxi rank outside arrivals - never accept a driver who approaches you inside the terminal. Paris sets a flat regulated fare into the city, so the meter is not in play: EUR 56 to the Right Bank (north of the Seine) or EUR 65 to the Left Bank, for up to four passengers. Confirm the flat fare with the driver before leaving.

Book in the app and meet your driver at the signed rideshare pickup zone, not the taxi rank. Fares are dynamic and surge at peak times and late at night, so they can land above or below the fixed taxi flat fare. Check the quoted price before you confirm.

Pre-book a car service online for a fixed, all-in price with a name-board meet-and-greet at arrivals. Worth it if you land late, travel with a family, or simply want zero uncertainty. Confirm the meeting point and flight-tracking policy when you book.
